Applications are now open for the fiscal year 2027 grant cycle. The deadline to apply is October 15, 2026. Note that no extensions will be given to this deadline.
As we are part of the Massachusetts Cultural Council, all applications must be submitted online through the MCC website. Applicants are encouraged to review the official rules and guidelines before applying.
Application Timeline
September -Applications open from September 1st to October 15th online through Mass Cultural Council
Mid October - Applications close after being open for six weeks. Applicants must complete their forms online and upload any required supplemental materials.
November & December - Between November 1st and December 31st, the MVCC will hold voting meetings to make decisions on applications, send denial letters, and handle reconsideration requests.
Early to mid January - Successful applicants are notified via email with details on the funding they’ve received.
