The FY26 MVCC grant cycle opens on September 2 and closes on October 16, 2025 at 11:59 PM.

As we are part of the Massachusetts Cultural Council, all applications must be submitted online through the MCC website. Applicants are encouraged to review the official rules and guidelines before applying.

Application Timeline

September 2nd - Applications open online through Mass Cultural Council

September 9th - Info Session for applicants on best practices when applying. Register here

October 16th - Applications close at 11:59pm. Applicants must complete their forms online and upload any required supplemental materials. In years when October 15th falls on a weekend or holiday, the statewide deadline is the Monday immediately following October 15th.

November & December
- Between November 1st and December 30th MVCC will hold voting meetings to make decisions on applications, send denial letters, and handle reconsideration requests.

Mid January - Successful applicants are notified via email with details on the funding they’ve received.

If you received a grant from the MVCC, completed your project, and are now in need of reimbursement, please click here for more information.

Reimbursement request forms should be accompanied by:

  • Invoices, receipts, or paid bills that meet or exceed the granted amount

  • Evidence that the event took place and was credited as promised (programs, articles, press releases, photos, etc.)

  • Evidence that the Mass Cultural Council logo was used and the Martha’s Vineyard Cultural Council was credited in articles, posters, programs, etc.

  • A completed W-9 for the grantee
